Two months ago I became a mother. It was the joyous event of my life. I didn’t know that I was capable of loving someone so much. My heart melts whenever I look at my son’s face. During this momentous period of my life it was enchanting to read “I Don’t Know How She Does It” by Allison Pearson. She discloses the complexity of a mother trying to balance between family life and a full-time high profile career. The point is that it’s not possible.

I enjoyed the humor of Kate Reddy. There were so many times when I laughed aloud while reading. This book will be my gift to my friends who think that a full-time career will make them a fulfilled person and staying at home to look after the children is a waste. I feel that moms should work but not at the expense of neglecting children.
