Water for Elephants

Water for Elephants

Water for ElephantsWater for Elephants by Sara Gruen is unlike other novels I’ve read so far. I never thought of life in circus. Hence, it was mesmerizing and thought provoking. I’m tempted to read more about life in circus.

Sara Gruen has brought out various human and animal characteristics so beautifully. In India, Elephant is very precious especially because of Shri Ganesha. Hence, I felt so much admiration for Rosie. She reminded me of the Hindi movie, Haathi Mere Saathi. Overall, the story has depth and Jacob Jankowski inspired me to value old age.

Last year i watched a japanise movie filmed also in Thailand talking about the story of a sweet relationship between a young boy and his elephant. The end is sad but the all story is fresh and innocente. Unfortunately i dont remember the title now!
