First Four Ancient Civilizations

This school year, we studied first four ancient civilizations: Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Indus Valley and Chinese. Below are the lapbooks we made for each civilization. I helped Kabir list all that main points that needs to be in the lapbook and also helped him organize them in groups. Then, Kabir wrote them in his own words and arranged them on the lapbook himself. I enjoyed doing this because it really helped him (and me) retain the main points from each civilizations and also it helped him compare them. This year, in February, we visited Michael C. Carlos Museum at Emory in Atlanta, GA. It was amazing to see him enjoy it so much especially because he had retained lot of information about the civilizations because of the lapbooks we made. It really made a difference!
