Field trips Spring 2019

This year we have taken a few field trips to:

We do not have photos but we visited McWane Science Center and Civil Rights Institute in Birmingham.

Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta

MLK Center in Atlanta

Nashville Adventure Science Center

Holly Springs: Ida B. Wells Museum and Montrose.

Natchez Trace Parkway Visiting Center: Wildlife Festival.
The Natchez Trace Parkway hosted a Wildlife Festival at the Parkway Visitor Center. Arjun watched live animal programs, and participated in exhibit booths that include information on turtles, insects, salamanders, mammals, environmental stewardship, and wildlife conservation. During the Wildlife Festival, award-winning educator and herpetologist Terry Vandeventer presented “Snakes of Mississippi” programs, and the Museum of Natural Science’s Conservation Educator Jackie Kerr presented “Turtles and Alligators”; both programs displayed live animals.

In March, we visited Death Valley National Park, Kings Canyon National Park, Sequioa National Park and Yosemite National Park.
