Audio Books from Audible.com

Saturday, February 14th, 2009

My husband, Amit recently introduced me to Audible.com. This website has audio books that you can download for a very reasonable price to your mp3 player.

My son has fallen in love with audio books and so, this is a great find for us. We are going to India next week and we have downloaded 2 of his favorite books: “Llama, llama Red Pajama” and “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”. Hopefully, this will ease our flight to India a bit. Audible.com has a special section for kids and you can search audio books for kids by age as well.

Wednesday, February 1st, 2006

FindYourSpot.com is an interesting website to find places that will be compatible to your interests and lifestyle. All you have to do is take online quiz (yes, it does take some time) and then they provide with a list of places that might suit your lifestyle. You are allowed to save this list and/or modify this list by changing answers to the online quiz. It is very interesting. I really had fun. Check it out…

Spiritual Message to The World by Mahatma Gandhi

Tuesday, November 29th, 2005

Mahatma Gandhi is the Father of India. He was a great soul who led us to freedom from British Empire by non-violence means. He was a spiritual soul. In fact, Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi was his spiritual guide.

Today, I came across his Audio Interview on 17 October 1931 recorded in Kinglsey Hall, London. When I heard his speech, I could hear the impression that Shri Mataji had made on Mahatma Gandhi. His speech reflects Shri Mataji’s teachings.

If you are interested you can hear it here:
