Dear Prasitha,
I'm so glad that my website has been useful to you. My advice is: spend 2 days just reading about SEO and see if you enjoy it. If it’s not your cup of tea then refer them to an SEO expert.

If it’s intriguing, give it a shot. As a website designer, SEO knowledge will only help you and your clients’ websites. Also, if you get stuck while trying to optimize the website you can always ask for advice on various forums online. SEO is an art rather than science. There’s no fool proof formula. It works out with trial and error.

Thanks again,
Shruti

I have been an avid visitor to your website for the past couple of months and have enjoyed your articles. I have just started developing websites on a freelance basis and found your website very useful.
My clients have now asked me to come up with a quotation for optimizing their website. I do not know anything about search engine optimization. Please could you give me some guidance on this. Is it possible for me to do this myself, or should I use the service of a seo expert?

I appreciate your help.

It's the background that will fade and not the text. As an example, look here: http://www.soxx.com/
Try it yourself.
