I love classics and non-fictions. Sometimes it gets too much and I need a light fiction to break the cycle. My two favorite authors are Danielle Steele and John Grisham.

The first half of The inheritance of loss by Kiran Desai was hard to read. I just could not understand the point of the story. My mother-in-law recommended it to me and so, I kept on reading.

I enjoyed Thank you for all things by Sandra Kring because of the lesson I learned from the story: there is little good and little bad in everyone and sometimes the bad is dominant. That’s when we need to make an effort to see the good in that person.

The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffinger is an interesting read. It’s a very sweet love story. The moral of the story is that being in present is very precious and no matter what we do we cannot change either our past or future.

Suite Francaise by Irene Nemirovsky is a masterpiece. I've read a few books and seen a few movies that narrate beginning of Second World War story. So when I got this book from the library, I had a hunch about what to expect and was ready to be really depressed with the sad stories of this era.

At first, Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck didn't seem my cup of tea but as I kept reading it, I couldn't put it down. It's a short and simple tale of two friends. It's sad but reasonable.
